A seasonal change is not always easy on the body. Whether we’re talking about adjusting to temperature fluctuations or new luminosity, it’s important to slow down and refuel to get through it. To accompany these self-care moments, Oasis offers you its Health Break collection: nutrient-enriched juices designed to provide a balance of pleasure and benefits in the hustle and bustle of your everyday life.

Oasis Health Break Immuniforce®: It’s energizing

Vitamins A & C can be incorporated into our diet to optimize our general well-being. In fact, they could contribute to the normal function of the immune system.¹ So, we’ve made sure to integrate the benefits of these nutrients to make your daily life easier (talk about strong!)

Vitamin A benefits on the body

Vitamin A is known to be important for maintaining overall health, as it is claimed to support healthy skin, good night vision and normal bone growth.²

Two of the main dietary sources of vitamin A are orange fruits and vegetables.³ So, it’s hard to go wrong with the delicious “orange, carrot and mango” combo! Indeed, Oasis Health Break Immuniforce juice contains 300 micrograms (μg) of vitamin A per 250 mL serving.

Fill up on vitamin C

Vitamin C is a nutrient reported by Health Canada to act as an antioxidant, promotes wound healing and contributes to the absorption of iron in the body.⁴

It seems that it plays a key role for your body and is easily found in citrus fruit (like oranges) and mangoes.⁵

Need a dose of vitamin C on the go? Just take one glass (250 mL) of Health Break Immuniforce to reach your daily intake.

What a great way to start the day!

Antioxidants and free radicals: a balance to be maintained

Exposure to external factors such as pollution, prolonged exposure to the sun (UV rays), or the absorption of medication, alcohol or smoking leads to the production of oxygen free radicals (OFRs), which can overwhelm the body’s own antioxidant defenses.⁶ If the imbalance between antioxidants and free radicals cannot be compensated for, oxidative stress develops. Chronic exposure to this imbalance could even lead to the development of several pathologies.⁷

Reducing oxidative stress through diet

Oxidative stress (SOx) can be reduced by eating a diet rich in fruit and vegetables. These beneficial effects are attributable to their high content of polyphenols, vitamin C, vitamin E and carotenoids.⁸

Here are some famous berries said to be packed with antioxidants in the form of polyphenols⁹ :

  • Blackberries
  • Pomegranate
  • Cranberries
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Grapes

Did you know that a 250 mL serving of Antioxia juice contains 400 mg of polyphenols and vitamin C? Feel fortified while enjoying a tasty Health Break!

Why consume Omega-3?

Omega-3s are thought to help emotional balance by supporting the functioning of neurotransmitters, the elements responsible for transmitting messages in our brains. They’re key to improving our well-being! ¹⁰

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) helps our cells communicate with each other. In fact, it’s an important Omega-3 fatty acid for the brain, eyes and heart.¹¹ Did you know that a 250mL serving of Oasis Health Break Omega-3 juice contains 0.03g DHA and 0.1g Omega-3?

No wonder this juice should have a special place in your fridge.
